Sometimes you just want a different look in your home, especially when re-decorating your house. Plain painted walls can be boring sometimes. In this post I would like to share with you something that you can do which is very effective and without breaking the bank. Stripes have been common in interior design, however, often used for the walls, furniture or floor coverings.
Here are some samples of rooms from houzz galleries where stripes have been successfully used on the ceiling. The ceilings are not just painted, but they are also stripped. I like the look of all of them. Stripes would work in any room but I prefer stripped ceiling in bedrooms, nurseries and study. They give the room depth and dimension , though this need a lot of planning and patience.
