Using green plants (I call it Living Art) is one the most inexpensive way of transforming an interior without breaking the bank, easy to maintain and last longer. The green plants in this living room from homedit galleries really transformed this neutral colour scheme. Artificial or Real? Clients often ask me this is question. Personally I prefer using living plants not only do they add the green colour to a room they also filter all the air in the room making it a healthy environment to live or work in. Some artificial plants look just as good as real ones.
Using green plants in a room is an important element in any space, it changes the feel of the room and it brings life to every room. Most interiors I go to tend to have empty dark corners, to me this is probably the best place to put a green plant and brighten up the space. Another option of adding green to your space could be small plants like Peace Lily, perfect for side tables.
Orchids both living and artificial can do the trick, these come in different sizes to suit any room. Green plants are beautiful to look at and they also purify the air encouraging a healthy environment.
