Design Process
Phase one
Our first meeting will be on site to discuss in detail your style, taste, ideas and lifestyle. We will talk about your specific needs, budgets, timings, and all your requirements. We will talk through the practical elements including how you want us to project manage and implement ideas.
Phase two
Initial ideas and creative design concepts will be discussed with you room by room, with the use of freehand sketches, mood boards and brochures.
Technical details and costs follow next. These may include structural build aspects, new electrics and plumbing, design of bespoke joinery and furniture, floor coverings, lighting systems, audiovisual equipment, and exclusive feature.
Phase three
Once the schemes are agreed, you will be presented with final costs and a schedule of works and items. Once we have agreed the design we will ask our sub contractors to tender for the project.
You can use your contractors if you wish. Once all the tenders have been received we discuss the merits of each and agree who will be commissioned for the work. We create a schedule of works which is updated on a regular basis.
Throughout the process of implementation we will visit the site to oversee all works, collaborating with other consultants on your behalf, such as architects, surveyors and lighting technicians, and liaise with suppliers to ensure delivery schedules are met to relieve you the stress of organising the project until completion.
We will visit the site to ensure attention to detail with the best quality and finishes achieved. All of the finishing touches will be overseen by us, including room layouts, furniture arrangements and window dressings.
Budget control
Again once the budget has been approved Kenza will maintain a tight control. All the expenditure against the budget is continuously monitored and regularly reviewed with you. Any additional further expenditure will require your approval/agreement before we proceed.
